Merry Christmas!!

All these presents and the ribbons and bows are still the most fun...I love the simplicty...
Sorry Papa, but you knew I would put it on the blog that I got you to put your hat on while you read your riddle!! Naunie didn't think he would wear it!! And he did!

Learning the five hole...

Hooray!! Santa came!! Believe it or not, Jake and I were up before Lucas this year!! Unfortunatley Jake had been suffering from a sinus infection so he did not sleep all that well...so we decided to get up and go downstairs and put our Monkey Bread in the oven and put a pot of coffee on before we heard the pitter patter of little feet!! About 7:30 Lucas ran down the stairs just in time for me to get my camera ready!! He was so excited to see that Santa had come and ate all his cookies and drank his milk!! (Yes, he looked at the plate before tearing into his presents! If you only knew how much Lucas loves his food!) The reindeer had nibbled their carrots too!! Santa did a great job this year, even I got a stocking!! Naunie and Papa came over for coffee, muffins, and Monkey Bread...we opened some more presents and then sat around and relaxed for the day just enjoying each others company. Jake and Lucas headed outside to play with Lucas' new hockey net and hockey sticks that Santa brought...and of course we played with our new blocks and a few games of Jenga!! We were sad that Aunt Jamie, Uncle Adam, and Uncle Matt were not there to spend time with, but we thought about them all day wishing one year we might all be together!! Naunie made a wonderful lasagna and meatballs, haha, for dinner and we ended the evening with some "poppers". They are a cute idea and Lucas loved popping them open and seeing what was inside...a lot of laughs, wonderful memories...
