Apparently our deck is a very inviting place to build a bird's nest...early May, a Robin started trying to make it's nest in the corner of our deck...and although Jake tried his best to take it down every time she started making it, eventually the bird won! Last year, it was a swallows...although they do make a bit of noise, and a small mess, it's fascintating to watch her as she comes and goes, keeping the eggs warm, and bringing small amounts of food to feed her newborn birds...
